Fretwork

More recently I have been performing acoustic guitar music in another duo, 'Fretwork', this time with John Clarkson, a fine finger-picking style guitar player. We have performed at the Cambridge Folk Club meeting at the Unicorn pub in Trumpington, Cambridge, the Red Lion Folk Club at Whittlesford and various other folk venues around the region.

Teaching experience

I have many years experience of teaching the acoustic guitar and have an approach to teaching that is geared towards helping you to learn.

Although you can achieve a great deal by using educational guitar material like books and other resources, there are still advantages to having lessons with a guitar teacher. If there are areas where you are struggling in your guitar playing, I can help you to identify and overcome the obstacles. Learning the guitar can be enjoyable too!
